Lei's Group: Zhen Lei, Professor at and Dean of School of Mathematical Sciences, Vice President of the China Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics, Director of Fudan Center for Applied Mathematics. Lei proposed the concept of "strong null condition" and discovered a nonlinear inherent strong degenerate structure for the system of incompressible fluid equations, and finally made a breakthrough by solving the long-standing open problem of the global well-posedness of solutions to the system of equations of two-dimensional elastodynamics by himself.
