Xin Peng serves as Vice Dean and Professor at the College of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Fudan University, recognized through China's National High-Level Talent Program. He holds multiple leadership roles including Distinguished Member of China Computer Federation (CCF), Vice Director of CCF's Software Engineering Technical Committee, and Standing Committee Member of CCF's Open-Source Development Committee. His professional influence extends to the automotive sector as Vice Director of the Automotive Basic Software Branch under China SAE. As Co-Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Software: Evolution and Process, Professor Peng shapes scholarly discourse alongside editorial responsibilities for premier journals like ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology, Empirical Software Engineering, Automated Software Engineering, and Chinese Journal of Software. His distinguished career features honors such as the NASAC Young Software Innovation Award (2016), Shanghai Oriental Talent Peak Project designation (2023), and Zhongchuang Software Talent Award (2024). Professor Peng's research spans cutting-edge domains including LLM-based intelligent software development, cloud-native and AI-native systems, and foundational software for smart vehicles and intelligent manufacturing.
