In general, I do software engineering research and also manage software development projects. I am currently interested in software product line development and evolution. I am also interested in how to get evolving requirements under control and how to balance the efforts spent in domain engineering and application engineering during the lifecycle of a software product line.
I have been involved in the development of an industrial software product family (SPF) since 2002. The SPF now contains a series of software products for online examinations and practices, covering whole lifecycle of examinations including authoring, preparation, testing, simulation, and assessment. The products serve educational organizations and authorities in various kinds of computer-aided examinations and online practices. The development of the products stimulates some of our research ideas and provides valuable information for our industrial case studies.
