He received his Ph.D. degree from Xiamen University in 2006. Currently, he is an associate professor and master supervisor at the College of Compuer Science and Aritificial Intelligence, Fudan University. From 1999 to 2003, he worked in software companies, serving as an engineer and chief engineer. In 2004, he was certified as a senior system analyst in computer software by the former Ministry of Personnel and the Ministry of Information Industry of China.

‌Main Research: Artificial Intelligence Security, Big Data Security, Social Media Analysis and Applications, Active Defense Technology.

Current Key Research Focuses‌:
  [1] Research on theories and technologies of artificial intelligence security: focusing on the security of classification and clustering models and algorithms, as well as bias, black-box attack and defense, etc.
  [2] Security analysis and application of password big data: emphasizing the perspectives of attack-defense and intelligent modeling
  [3] Financial public opinion and security: covering web crawler related technologies, information extraction, social networks, sentiment analysis, financial risk modeling, applications of large models and knowledge graphs, etc.
  [4] Research on theories and technologies of big data security, mainly targeting solving traditional security problems with big data, as well as social media public opinion security, etc.

He currently serves as an editorial board member of many well-known domestic and international academic journals, including IJNS (Information Security, EI indexed journal), JETWI (Web Intelligence), Computer Engineering and Applications, and Computer Engineering. He works as a reviewer for numerous academic journals such as World Wide Web Journal, Knowledge-based Systems, IEEE SMC, IEEE TKDE, Expert Systems With Applications, Computer Science, and Mini-Micro Systems. He is a PC Member of international conferences including IEEE ASID and ICAIMS. He is also a peer review expert for the Network and Information Security program of NSFC, and an expert of the Science and Technology Commission of Pudong New Area, Shanghai.

During his tenure in software companies from 1999 to 2003, he made great efforts in enterprise informatization, led the team to complete a number of innovative research and application development projects, which were promoted and applied in many provinces and cities across China. As the first completer, he won the Science and Technology Award of the State Post Bureau, the Science and Technology Award of Fujian Provincial Post Bureau, and the Xiamen Technological Innovation and Invention Achievement Award. As the fourth completer, he obtained the Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Award. In recent years, he has won the Fudan University Teaching Achievement Award, the Textbook Construction Award, and the Third Prize of Shanghai Computer Society Teaching Achievement Award.

In recent years, he has filed 15 patent applications, among which 10 are authorized invention patents, and obtained 2 software copyrights (as the first completer). He presides over the General Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Natural Science Foundation Project, and research projects of the Ministry of Education. As a key technical backbone, he has participated in more than 30 research and design projects including the National Key R&D Program, projects from the National Informatization Expert Advisory Committee, the Ministry of Education, the National Administration for State Secrets, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and enterprise cooperation projects. He has conducted extensive and in-depth research on related technologies, theories and applications in big data security, artificial intelligence security, network public opinion, social media analysis and other fields. He has published more than 80 papers, over 10 of which are in top international academic journals (as first author and corresponding author), including well-established information security journals such as IEEE TIFS, ACM TOPS, IEEE TCSS, Computers & Security, SCN, as well as renowned artificial intelligence journals like Knowledge-based Systems and Expert Systems With Applications. According to Google Scholar statistics, his personal H-index is 17. Since 2017, he has published and updated the textbooks Internet Big Data Processing Technology and Application, Python Crawler Big Data Collection and Mining, and Artificial Intelligence Security, which have been selected as textbooks by more than 100 universities including Harbin Institute of Technology and University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
