I am a Young Principal Investigator at the Institute of Science and Technology for Brain-Inspired Intelligence (ISTBI), Fudan University, Shanghai. I earned my B.S. and M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Zhejiang Normal University. In 2016, I obtained a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Fudan University, supervised by Prof. Jianfeng Feng. I completed postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Statistics of Fudan University from Jul, 2016 to June, 2018, during which time I was a visiting scholar at the University of Warwick, UK for one year performing neuroscience research with Prof. Edmund Rolls. I also have an appointment as an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Warwick in the Department of Computer Science. I am the recipient of grants from The National Natural Sciences Foundation of China, The National Natural Sciences Foundation of Shanghai, among many other awards and grants in the last three years. My research focuses on developing statistical and computational methods, and applying them to the study of brain function and mental disorders with multimodal brain imaging and genetic data. I have published more than 30 SCI articles as the first author in many high-impact journals including JAMA Psychiatry, Molecular Psychiatry, Nature Communications, Brain, eLife, etc. My research has been cited more than 1600 times (Google academic citations, Sep, 2021). My research has attracted the attention of many public media, foreign and domestic, including the BBC, Daily Mail, and Guangming Daily, etc. I joined the editorial board of Journal of Neuroscience Methods, also serve as a guest editor of the journal Frontiers In Aging Neuroscience, and a reviewer for a number of SCI journals including Biological Psychiatry, and Neuroimage.
