Position 2: Cognitive Neuroscience
Fudan University is one of the leading institutions in China for higher-education and scientific research. The Institute of Science and Technology for Brain-inspired Intelligence (ISTBI) is a recently established centre at Fudan University that provides an interdisciplinary platform for cutting-edge research in brain sciences. We are recruiting Post-doctoral Fellows with a background in Cognitive Neurosciences, Neurobiology, Computational Psychiatry, or Imaging Genetics to join our team. One potential study is about the cognitive flexibility and schizophrenic symptom of 3 genetic mouse lines, including both knock-down and over-expression of SLC39A8 and knock-in rs13107325 ZIP8 Ala391Thr. This study is based on our recent publication Luo et al. JAMA Psychiatry 2019. Within ISTBI, the Centre for Cognitive Neuroscience is an integrative research platform that investigates the biological basis of cognition from micro-scale individual neurons to systems-level neural circuits.

Job responsibilities
Cognitive neuroscience studies, including making animal models, running behavioral tests, neurobiology analysis and electrophysiological experiments etc.
Requirements
PhD degree in cognitive neurosciences, behavioral neurosciences, neurobiology, computational neurosciences, neuroimaging, or related areas.
Minimum of one first-author publication in an international scientific journal.
Fluency in oral/written English and excellent communication skills.
Strong team-spirit and ability to work independently.
Maximum age limit is generally 35.
Salary and Welfare
Salary: RMB 300,000-400,000 yuan (before tax).
